Who We Are

intec.net is an international network agency. We maintain 15 offices, located in 11 Central and East European countries and in India and China.

intec.net supports the preparation and implementation of international technology co-operation projects with potential business partners in countries with an interesting economic and technological  profile.

Our network is closely linked with PRO INNO II, the programme of the German Ministry for Economics and Technology aimed at advancing the innovation capabilities of medium-sized enterprises. Our mission thus forms part of the German government's international policy on technology.

intec.net has been entrusted by the Ministry to the International Technology Co-operation Network based in the Berlin Office of AiF.

Our offices abroad offer support for German SMEs and research institutes in developing and implementing technology co-operation projects by

• Identifying potential partners for joint R&D projects
• Consulting research and technology co-operation projects
• Lending logistic and linguistic support for German SMEs
• Facilitating contacts to economic and political institutions in partner countries
• Identifying additional sources of financial support for our foreign co-operation partners in their countries
• Organizing Business Forums
• Analysing the economic and scientific research situation in partner countries
• Analysing interesting new areas of technology and framework conditions for R&D co-operation
• Arranging legal advice and consulting, e.g. on contracts

Our Berlin office and our offices in partner countries provide their services free of charge to German SMEs.

intec.net organizes events for interested German SMEs and research institutes in Germany and in our partner countries.

Abroad

• Business Forums

Events on specific technological developments and beyond provide German SMEs with the opportunity to find local partners for joint R&D projects.

These events focus on the facilitation of bilateral negotiations between German participants and potential partners who have been selected previously according to enterprise profiles and the co-operation needs of German SMEs.

• Business Trips

Our local offices organize individual business trips at the demand of German SMEs and institutes. These events enable German SMEs to conduct on-site visits and to form their own impression of potential co-operation partners abroad.

• Forum for international Technology Co-operation (FiT)

This Forum provides SMEs with the opportunity to receive information about funding possibilities from a multitude of renowned organizations, associations and institutions as well as from the diplomatic representatives of our partner countries. intec.net presents detailed information about the services of our network.

• INTEC Business Forums

Every year, intec.net organizes a Business Forum with foreign participants on technological developments for German SMEs in various cities. These events are specifically tailored to the interests of the leadership and professional key persons in technology-oriented SMEs. We offer individual consulting by international experts and the opportunity to exchange information and experiences with leading figures in the business and scienctific research sectors of other countries.

• International Consulting Day

As part of the yearly Innovation Workshop organised by AiF, our consultants from all offices provide competent advice on general conditions and possibilities for R&D projects in partner countries. Our consultants will also advise you on additional funding sources in these countries.
